Latinports concluded that, rather than thinking increase port capacity in a market that does not grow and is very competitive, it must be creative, giving added value to the ports to make them more viable. Shipping companies which because of its crisis are desperately looking for economies of scale, are already doing so, in addition to allying each other are becoming logistics companies with port operator in the middle, and major world operators are allying with the shipping companies to keep market with these.
