The New Era of the Ports: Projects and New Business Models in an Industry in Transformation
Panama City, April 11 & 12, 2018
The port business is in the process of transformation, adapting to the currents of change coming from the various sectors that make up the supply chain
Shipping lines, with its concentration and the use of larger ships; disruptiv works of infrastructure, as it was the expansion of the Panama Canal; the evolution of the supply chain, which tends to bring both ends, consumer manufacturer with consumer, and the arrival of new technologies and innovations that have begun to change the way that is organised the logistics business. These themes, and the port projects that exist in the region, are the axes on which will develop discussions and analyses in the 3rd Latin America Ports Forum.
Latinports, as usual, will act as associate partner, and its executive director, Julian Palacio, will participate day 12 with a presentatio called Prospects for the Port Sector in Latin America
